Casa Limoeiro It was a wonderful stay. And yes, tell the owner our best compliments. It was good to feel welcome, with the heating running on this cold and rainy day of arrival. The wine was very nice welcome as well. The fire place from two sides (livingroom connecting to bedroom) was terrific. Figueira has more character than most of the villages situated directly at the sea. This really old country house, respectfully, warm and smart developed to a great holiday location, is definatly worth a recommendation. |

Casa da Aldeia We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Village House. It was the peaceful holiday we were hoping for. The house itself was very comfortable, we relaxed in front of a fire every evening. The location was great as it was an easy drive to nearby fabulous beaches and attractions like Sagres and Silves. When we didn't feel like going anywhere our children had a wonderful time outside searching for snails and tadpoles in a nearby ditch! It was a very safe setting for them. Thank you for everything. |

Casa da Aldeia Me and my mad family have had an amazing holiday! So here we are each going to write a phrase to describe it... I loved hearing the cow bells - Lola. I have done man dive plops in the pool. Laughter relaxation and fun in fantastic surroundings, bliss, we'll be back!! - Katy. Lola said "I love this place and I want to stay here forever" (you might find her in a cupboard!). A fab place I could always find a place for a bit of piece away from the little cousins! Also had some of the best waves - hope to be back!! I loved surfing everyday all day - Charlie. Amazing spot for Geckoes, caught 3, moorish Geckoes - Oscar. It is a great place in heaven, lots of family fun and relaxation - Gary. It was ok, I suppose! - Jem. So glad to have found this place (after recommendation from friends). Really hope this is not the last visit. Has been fantastic week with family.. everyone with their favourite things, activities for all of us.. Now need to start saving so that we can do it again.. Oh yippee, the grand finale is that we get to get up at 2.45 a.m. - CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT BIT! Anna |
