Lovely holiday and the house was just right, thank goodness for the shade of the Lemon tree, as it was very hot & sunny..

It was a wonderful stay.
And yes, tell the owner our best compliments.
It was good to feel welcome, with the heating running on this cold and rainy day of arrival. The wine was very nice welcome as well.
The fire place from two sides (livingroom connecting to bedroom) was terrific.
Figueira has more character than most of the villages situated directly at the sea.
This really old country house, respectfully, warm and smart developed to a great holiday location, is definatly worth a recommendation..

• RESTURANTS NEAR FARO AIRPORT O Pontual Resturant (very local on airport boundry) Excellent food and a good price. Try the dish of the day. Go to the last roundabout before the airport the one with the stone people and dog looking up to watch the planes. Take the last exit to Faro Island so that the Total Petrol Station is on your left go 400 yards and turn left O Pontual is on the left nearly at the end..
