What a fantastic place, wonderful people and wildlife. You certainly seem to have this whole relaxation thing worked out. Everything was perfect. We'll have to go home and save up to come out here again..

The holiday was wondeful - the cottage was delightful. The weather was more than kind to us and the location so close to the beach was magical. I would certainly recommend this facility to my friends as a lovely place to visit..

Super cottage - we have had a wonderful time. Anna Maria Island is hust magic. This is a great location for a wonderful holiday - we don't want to go home!
We do intend to return A.S.A.P

This is our 3rd year in the Shell cottage. We will probably come back next year. Our newest find was Rudy's the subs were great and you can go for breakfast 8ish to 3ish.
Fire works were awesome this year. No one wants to go home today..

In your minds eye when you book a holiday you have a vision of a lifestyle and a hope that your holiday will be memrable.
The pictures and information on your website and others on Anna Maria Island do not do justice to how lovely it is. We had the best time and have found a little corner of Florida that we will return to.
When I get back to England and am stressed at work I will try to remember some of the sights of Anna Maria Island.

Very sorry to be leaving beautiful Anna Maria Island today, having spent 2 fantastic weeks here. Our holiday was more than we could have hoped for, having seen dolphins swim, collecting shells and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of Anna Maria Island. Weather was great, but remember your insect repellent you will need it!
Had a fantastic meal on the beach at the Beach Bistro - expensive but well worth it. Sipping a margarita at sunset at the Sandbar can't be beatton, and we hope to return next year to get married on the beach!
We will take home with us many wonderful memories of Anna Maria Island!.

We fell in love instantly with both the lovely Shell cottage and Anna Maria Island. The weather has been fantastic - far hotter than we expected.
The wild life here is wonderful and the beach is so unspoilt with soft white sand and warm blue sea. We are sad that our two weeks here are now over, but we hope to return again sometime in the future..

First visit to A.M.I. Cottage excellent everything catered for.
Enjoyed meals out at the mermaid, Rod & Reel & Di Giorgio particularly.
Loved watching the birdlife on the water front. Lucky to see a couple of dolphins jumping in the water fairly near to us.
The warmest water I have ever swam in..

Chill out week on our 17 day holiday to Florida.......turned into that here at Shell Cottage. We arrived late on the Monday so AMI was quiet & in darkness. The pleasant scenery was exposed in the morning and off to inspect the beach.....OH what a view. We walked North then around to the Rod & Reel pier for lunch, very nice indeed. During our stay we also used Ginny's & Janee's for snacks & lunch in the afternoon plus use of the Wi-Fi for $2.00.
Spent a few days chilling at the poolside, witnessed a lovely sunset from the beach. Got to enjoy 2 dolphins playing around the marina at Historic bridge street pier. Cottage was ideal for our needs during our stay & set in a lovely area.
All in all, extremely happy with our stay here at Shell cottage. We'll spread the word with family & friends & hope to return one day..

Shell Cottage can be connected to with Seahorse Cottage, making it a 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms which sleeps up to 6.
It is situated on the Gulf Coast of Florida in a quite location known as a nature reserve in Anna Maria, being part of Anna Maria Island, neighbouring the exclusive island of Longboat Key. (1 hr from Tampa Airport and 30 minutes from Sarasota)
Situated in a tropically landscaped garden. It is one of a cluster of three cottages that surround a heated, free-formed deep swimming pool with waterfall and is within 300 feet of the beautiful, 7 mile white sandy beach, where you can watch Pelican dive, Ibis run and Dolphins swim.
Shell cottage is a beautifully renovated 1 bedroom cottage, with full air-conditioning & heating. It is our aim to ensure that your holiday starts from the moment you arrive. To those of you who know the island, the cottages are within walking distance of the wonderful Sandbar beach restaurant. Information on bicycle rental as well as emergency telephone numbers plus additional information on places to visit are all in a booklet awaiting your arrival.
